-
- @7+,2
-
- //7+ <ON/OFF>
- This command switches 7+ AutoSave on or off. This command may be used
- if you want to send some 7+ files, but the operator is not at his
- station and you are not sure, if he turned 7+ AutoSave on or not.
-
- @ACTIVITY,2
-
- //Activity
- This command shows the space of time when the sysop finally pressed
- a key or moved the mouse.
-
- @WPRG,2
-
- //WPrg <filename>
- This command starts the storage of a file in AutoBin mode.
- The AutoBin mode is a simple transfer protocol which contains a CRC
- check. Unfortunately it doesnt't correct errors.
- This AutoBin mode is compatible to THP and SP.
-
- @WRITE,1
-
- //Write <filename>
- This command starts the storage of a text. All text after this command
- will be stored into the file "filename" until you send a Ctrl-Z or
- the command //END.
-
- @VERSION,3
-
- //VERsion
- Shows the version number of this software.
-
- @USAGE,1
-
- //Usage [call]
- The command without further parameters shows the actual channel state
- of this station.
- If you add a call to the command, you will get a short information
- about the call, if it's stored in path file of GP.
-
- @RUN,3
-
- //RUN <program>
- This function runs an external program and sends the output to the TNC.
- All external programs must use the DOS standard output handle or it
- won't work with GP.
- The parameter "?" will send back a list of all available programs.
-
- There can be run two types of remote programs:
-
- a) Standard remote programs
- The call of these programs consists of five steps:
- 1.: Open a temporary file on disk.
- 2.: Redirect the DOS device CON into this file.
- 3.: Run the program. The screen output will now be written into
- the file.
- 4.: Read the temporary file ans send it to the TNC.
- 5.: Delete the temporary file.
- These programs may be programmed of any user of GP in any program
- language. The only thing you must consider is to use the DOS Handle 1
- (standard output device) for your screen outputs.
-
- b) GPRI programs
- Since version 1.50 GP includes a special program interface called
- GPRI (Graphic Packet Remote Interface). This interface allows an
- interactive communication between the remote program and the
- remote user. GPRI-programs run in a kind of "multitasking", so
- several connected users can run these programs at the same time.
-
- @RPRG,2
-
- //RPrg <filename>
- This function sends a file in AutoBin mode. You must first set your
- own program ready to recieve the file in AutoBin mode before sending
- the remote command.
- The AutoBin mode is compatible to THP and SP.
-
- @READ,1
-
- //Read <filename>
- This command sends you a text file. You can get a list of all readable
- files by sending the command "//CATalog".
-
- @QUIT,1
-

- This command can be used to terminate the QSO instead of a simple
- hard disconnect. If you use this command, you will get a dismissal text
- before the QSO is disconnected.
-
- @PROMPT,2
-
- //PRompt <ON/OFF>
- This command turns on/off the remote prompt. If it's on, the prompt
- will appear, when a remote command is completed to show you the system
- is ready to get the next command.
-
- @NEWS,2
-
- //NEws
- This command will show you some news if there exist any.
-
- @NAME,1
-
- //Name <name>
- If your name istn't yet stored in the path file of GP, you can use
- this command to add your name to the file. You must use a <SPACE> to
- seperate the name from the command. The name itself can consist of any
- character, including <SPACE>.
-
- @MHEARD,2
-
- //MHeard [number]
- This command shows you a list of heard stations. If you append a
- number to the command (seperated by a single <SPACE>), GP will send
- you this number of finally heard stations. The single command without
- a number will show you the last 20 stations.
-
- @INFO,1
-
- //Info
- Shows an information text about this station.
-
- @HELP,1
-
- //Help
- General information:
- All commands must begin in the first row and be completed with a <CR>.
- You must begin each command with "//" or nothing will happen.
- All commands may be abbreviated. If you add a parameter to the command,
- you must sperate it with a single <SPACE> from the command. If a

- by a single <SPACE>, too.
- A command inclusive parameters must not exceed the length of 80
- characters.
-

- This command terminates the QSO immediately without any dismissal text.
-
- @DIRECTORY,3
-
- //DIRectory [wildcard]
- This function returns the volume of the user directory. All files
- can be read with //Read or //RPrg. Also //Write or //WPrg write the
- files into this directory.
- You can use wildcards with this command, e.g. "//DIR *.txt". You
- even can use several wildcards seperated by a semicolon.
- e.g. "//DIR *.txt;*.doc"
-
- @DELETE,3
-
- //DELete <filename>
- This command allows you to delete a file from the user directory.
- You only can delete files, which you have generated by yourself with

- This command calculates the round trip time between our stations.
- Your program must be able to execute the remote command "//Echo",
- otherwise this command will not work. If you use BayCom or Digicom,
- add the number of the actual port to the command, e.g. "//RT 1".
